Maranatha Family Worship Center is a growing body of believers on the Eastside of Tacoma who believe that the church should be driven by the 5 purposes of the church spelled out in the "Great Commission," Matthew 28:18-20, and the "Great Commandment," Matthew 22:37-40. These five purposes for the church are:

It is the dream of 500 members growing together in spiritual maturity through Bible studies, seminars, retreats and fellowship.
It is the dream of a place where the congregation is loving, laughing, and learning together to understand God’s wonderful plan and purpose.
It is the dream of a place where members can give birth to their creative ideas and live life to their fullest and greatest potential.
